School Uniform

At Argyle School, all children, including nursery children, are expected to wear school uniform. Please read the uniform policy on the policy page for more clarity.

All jumpers, cardigans, fleece and PE tops are available to buy on SCOPAY and are available to be collected from the school office in the afternoon.

Autumn and Spring Term

Nursery and Reception

  • Black or grey school style skirts or trousers - required
  • Black or grey jogging bottoms – required
  • Logo embroidered light blue polo shirt – required
  • Logo embroidered navy blue jumper, cardigan or fleece – required
  • White, grey or black socks – required
  • Black shoes or black trainers (no boots) – required

Key Stage 1 and 2

  • Black or grey skirt, trousers, pinafore – required
  • Light blue shirt (short or long sleeved) – required
  • Logo embroidered navy blue jumper, cardigan or fleece – required
  • Green tie, clip or elasticated - required
  • Socks in white, grey or black or tights – required
  • Black shoes (no trainers and no boots) – required

Summer Term/First Half Autumn Term

Reception, Key Stage 1 and 2

  • Same as Autumn and Spring term school uniform or light blue white gingham dress and  tailored shorts – required

PE Kit

  • Black leggings, tracksuit bottoms or shorts – required
  • Argyle red PE T-shirt – required
  • Black Plimsolls (EYFS)/Trainers – required
  • Green PE hoodie– required
  • Black socks  – required

Swimming Kit

  • Fitted swimming trunks/ all in one costume (no bikini) – required
  • Swimming cap– required
  • Goggles – required
  • Towel – required
  • Bag – required

We ask that girls wear shoes with low heels and that sandals should have a strap around the ankles.

Children who wish to cover their heads may wear navy or black hijabs.

Watches, and, if necessary small studs are the only type of jewellery acceptable at school.

We also ask that all children have a book bag and recommend each child has their own water bottle.

Please note it is the responsibility of families to clearly name all uniform items, school coats and bags.
